Infrared Sauna Therapy.

 

Although based in the same principle of using heat to affect the body, not all saunas are the same. Infrared saunas use light therapy to detoxify our bodies at a cellular level, inducing sweat through a gentle dry heat that sits around 45-65 degrees celsius. Compared to traditional saunas which involve pouring water over heated stones to create a hot and humid atmosphere, heat produced in infrared saunas is radiant, making the air easier to breathe. A session in one of our full spectrum infrared saunas is 50 minutes long – 40 mins in the sauna and10 mins to refresh for the rest of your day.

Post Sauna, you should be feeling refreshed and energised.

Your body will continue to sweat for an additional 20-30 minutes as it naturally cools down. For this reason, after your sauna we recommend simply wiping off your sweat with a towel and dressing in comfortable clothing.

If you would like to shower, you’re welcome do to so in the privacy of your sauna room. Zadig Studio provides complementary Sans [Ceuticals] Ph Perfect Body Wash for use. If possible, avoid putting lotion on your skin, which will clog your pores.

A Note on Hydration:

Remember, at the root of all sauna therapy is our body’s desire to release (sweat) heal (detoxify) and renew (recharge for the day ahead). Hydration post-sauna is imperative, and we invite you to have a drink in our beautiful reception area following your 50 minutes session.
